Volunteers Needed

Our event has been running since 2012 and in that time the event has raised more than £150,000 for local charities and given many thousands of people a great day out. Every year we try to improve the event and 2025 is no exception. With that in mind, as the event grows, we are now looking for volunteers to join our committee.

Firstly, we are looking for someone with strong marketing experience who can help us plan and execute our advertising and engagement activities. This would include how and when we interact with social media, magazines, car groups, businesses, radio and TV etc. You would ideally have existing links to the car and motorcycle community.

Next, we would like to find someone capable of expanding our presence on social media - including Facebook/Instagram and YouTube. You will be very aware of how these platforms operate and how they can be used for improving communications and feedback. You will look to increase our followers significantly by creating interesting and relevant content and promoting it online. This will also mean you are looking to find influencers to promote both our and their brands.

The roles would ideally be suited to someone located in the Surrey area with a love of the automobile and either good marketing management skills or good social media skills. Both roles would work with the existing committee who will support them fully. In terms of effort, we have committee meetings monthly and more often leading up to the event (7th September this year), the time spent on both of these roles will be fully dependent on your own availability.
